I am at my parent's farm and found an article in a magazine on building a reclining chair like yours. It is a pretty good article. Looks like it would support some ass. Keep on keeping up with the updates. I am anxious to see this thing together. All the best!LORD GODFREYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00800922986771381180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-238419852400511122.post-35830401803763927182008-12-24T11:34:00.000-08:002008-12-24T11:34:00.000-08:00the bamboo skewers are working great! the cabinet ...the bamboo skewers are working great! the cabinet is almost done, got some shellac on it and glued it up, looking effin' good!

Also wanted to wish you a merry x-mas Jacques!Nick Brygidyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16106095548772647316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-238419852400511122.post-47484030954052289882008-12-19T14:32:00.000-08:002008-12-19T14:32:00.000-08:00bamboo skewers and round toothpicks are good too f...bamboo skewers and round toothpicks are good too for really small work.jbreauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04172943907503737238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-238419852400511122.post-60873379806939039572008-12-19T08:34:00.000-08:002008-12-19T08:34:00.000-08:00Hey Nick, you know what works awesome for tiny dow...Hey Nick, you know what works awesome for tiny dowels? In my opinion a sofa is a difficult piece for a woodworker because the woodwork tends to be minimal, taking a backseat to the typically large amount of upholstery. Personally, I'm still using the old crusty futon I bought while in college. Sometimes I think I should build a nice frame for the damn thing. A guy I used to work with at a timberframe shop who lurks around on these blogs built a nice futon frame from fir once. Rane? You out there?Codyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374686176595392044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-238419852400511122.post-6183487710563505202008-12-14T20:32:00.000-08:002008-12-14T20:32:00.000-08:00I like my boxes just fine, chairs kinda frighten m...I like my boxes just fine, chairs kinda frighten me. Is it still going to tilt? If so is it like a day bed or just for adjustable reclining?

Aren't chairs sooooo much more interesting.LORD GODFREYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00800922986771381180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-238419852400511122.post-44539435400778695772008-12-14T10:48:00.000-08:002008-12-14T10:48:00.000-08:00Not bad kid. You're moving past boxes.
