sometimes i feel like an addict
sometimes i buy wood without necessarily being in a position to do so. but i can't help myself. behold, two green flitches of 8/4 maple with great heart colour and curl. starett square for comparison.

It's nice wood, but not THAT nice.
Those are awesome! I am dying to find some local maples unharmed by flat sawing and kilns.
I'm a sucker for thick trunks those anorexic trees just don't do it for me.
we had bees, but no longer. now they only decorate the exterior of my parents place.
it is nice wood, now its just needs to dry nicely.
those are some insane slabs..very jealous.

awesome cant wait to see it! i really wanted to see what the latest class was up to, but i only saw daisuke's and barb's.
i enjoyed myself greatly. it was a fresh feeling and im totally rejuvenated. i also learned a thing or two about veneering and what not.
